Offer description

HealthNet Homecare are specialists in delivering homecare services for patients - from medical deliveries to nursing support for both children and adults in the community. Working with over 180,000 patients across a wide range of therapy areas, our dedicated team support patients with rare and orphan diseases right through to more common conditions. Our aim is to make life easier for patients and their families by taking the stress out of managing medication and ensuring they feel confident they're in safe hands with HealthNet. We are looking for Children's Clinical Homecare Nurses to join our growing nursing team. Children's nurses at HealthNet have the unique opportunity to support both children and adults in the community - whether that's at home, school, or work - helping patients continue their daily lives while receiving the care they need. The role of a Homecare Nurse makes a real difference to our patients, who can receive vital treatment in a safe, comfortable and familiar setting. Our patients may have conditions such as growth hormone deficiency, autoimmune disorders, or rare and orphan diseases. As a Homecare Nurse, you'll have the time and opportunity to provide true one-to-one care - from teaching patients or carers to self-administer injections, to delivering more complex IV therapies. If you're a qualified Children's Nurse looking for a role where you can truly make an impact on both paediatric and adult patients, using your passion and skills in an ever-evolving healthcare environment - HealthNet Homecare is the place for you to be part of something meaningful. Who we are Our nursing team is made up of highly trained homecare professionals who support both straightforward and complex therapies in a patient-focused, quality-driven way. Our vision is to be recognised as the first choice for patient-centred homecare. To achieve this, we work closely with the NHS and pharmaceutical partners to deliver medication, nursing services, and patient support programmes that allow people to receive care at home - safely and to the same standard as a hospital environment. Why us? We know our people make the difference. That's why we invest in continuous professional development and training, ensuring every nurse goes into the community with confidence, backed by a strong support network. We promote a culture of patient-centred care and offer opportunities to progress and grow within a supportive, collaborative environment. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high standards of patient care on behalf of HealthNet and our healthcare partners Teach patients, carers, or family members to self-administer therapies, or deliver therapies directly in line with service-specific protocols Carry out telephone calls, virtual consultations, and home visits as part of patient support programmes Support patients and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless transition between hospital and home care Maintain exceptional standards of service and patient experience Travel Requirements This is a field-based role, and travel is a key part of your working day. You'll be visiting patients across a wide geographical area, with routes varying day to day depending on clinical needs. While we aim to plan visits efficiently, there is no set location radius - meaning you may occasionally travel beyond two hours between patients. Travel time forms part of your working hours, and you'll be supported by our scheduling team to help balance routes and patient priorities. What experience and skills are we looking for? You will be a Registered Children's Nurse (NMC) who is passionate about delivering first-class, patient-focused care. Essential Skills Registered Children's Nurse (NMC) Computer literate Desirable (but not essential) 3 years post-registration experience Previous homecare experience Cannulation and venepuncture experience Experience with IV therapies and accessing ports What we offer: Competitive salary structure £5,000 annual car allowance & fuel card (for field-based nurses) 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension scheme Ongoing training and development Professional registration fees paid Employee Assistance Programme (including 24/7 GP access) Refer a friend scheme Uniform and nurse kit bag provided Eyecare vouchers Perks and wellbeing benefits via Perkbox Long service awards If this role sounds of interest and you'd like to join a company that truly puts patients at the heart of everything we do, we'd love to hear from you.
