The role
At Farecla we are looking for a Production Operative to work in our Operations team, helping to deliver high-quality manufacturing output, maintain efficient production processes, and ensure products are produced safely and to the highest standards.
You'll work with experienced colleagues in a hands-on environment including heavy lifting, operating equipment, maintaining production standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This is permanent role based in Ware, and operates on a rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 2:00pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:45pm
Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 10:00am - 18:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 2:45pmWhat we're looking for:
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
A strong awareness of health and safety, including an understanding of COSHH regulations and the ability to always follow health and safety procedures.
Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
Basic IT, literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately record production information.
Experience driving counterbalance (desirable)What you will be doing:
Setting up and staging materials for production processes and operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitoring production machinery, troubleshooting minor issues, and helping to maintain equipment performance.
Recording production data and ensuring products meet required quality standards.
Supporting stock control activities, including stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and 5S practices while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Are Farecla and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?
