CNC Setter (Milling or Turning) We are representing a precision engineering business operating within a project-based, special-purpose build environment. Due to increased demand across ongoing technical programmes, positions are now available for CNC Setters (Milling or Turning) to join a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team producing tight-tolerance components for complex mechanical assemblies. These roles are intended for individuals who are committed to developing their skillset and progressing into CNC programming as part of their long-term career. Key Responsibilities * Setting and operating CNC mills or lathes (multi-axis). * Producing precision components to tight engineering tolerances. * Carrying out in-process inspection using micrometres, bore gauges and callipers. * Adjusting tooling, offsets and machining parameters to maintain accuracy. * Interpreting complex technical drawings, including GD&T. * Working collaboratively with engineering and quality teams across bespoke build projects. * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area. * Undertaking structured training with the expectation of progressing to CNC programming duties. Shift Pattern & Pay * Double Day Shift: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (weekly rotation) * Rate: £15–£16 per hour * Overtime and additional benefits available.
