You'll support the full product lifecycle—from concept to launch—while working closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver high-quality, commercially viable food products.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the NPD team in keeping products on critical path timelines.
* Collaborate across departments and with external customers to ensure alignment.
* Implement and maintain product development documentation and processes.
* Write cooking and reheating instructions, and complete product attribute documentation.
* Conduct organoleptic and shelf‑life testing to validate product performance.
* Participate in taste panels, benchmarking sessions, and product quality reviews.
* Prepare samples for presentations and manage air freight logistics.
* Maintain a clean, well‑stocked development kitchen and manage raw material orders.
* Ensure timely completion of reports and administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Food Science or related field.
* 1‑2 years' experience in an NPD role.
* Genuine interest in food trends and product innovation.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
* Numerically competent with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Proactive, hands‑on approach and ability to work independently.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (UK and internationally).
