Beazley is seeking a Payroll Manager within the Finance - Global Business Management division. This role involves ownership of end-to-end payroll accounting on a global basis, ensuring accurate processing of remuneration data in the general ledger and maintaining financial controls and governance, including reconciliation and audit processes. The Payroll Manager will engage with the People & Sustainability payroll team, contribute to aligning payroll processes post-Workday implementation, and manage and mentor the Finance Payroll Analyst.Key Responsibilities include:Bringing 5-10 years of global payroll accounting experience, with a strong background in payroll processing.Understanding share schemes such as Share Vesting, SIP, ISIP, SAYE, and SUW, and liaising with stakeholders on these schemes.Ensuring the Payroll Analyst's knowledge and skills are developed.Maintaining robust reconciliation processes for payroll-related accounts and acting as the lead for payroll audit processes.Collaborating with expense managers and ensuring clear communication of payroll processes across finance and the wider business.Owning the delivery of payroll processes for month and quarter ends, ensuring controls and governance are in place.Strategic Objectives include:Reviewing and developing payroll accounting capabilities.Managing strategic and local expense projects related to payroll.Core Competencies: Analytical thinking, professionalism, relationship building, learning agility, adaptability, responsibility, effective communication, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.All interactions should align with Beazley's core values: Being Bold, Striving for Better, and Doing the Right Thing.
