Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Nursery Assistants to support a variety of nursery settings in Barry. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early years development and are looking for flexible work to suit their schedule.
You will play a key role in supporting children aged 0–5, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where they can grow, learn and thrive.
The Role:
* Supporting children with daily routines, including play, snack times and outdoor learning
* Assisting with engaging, age-appropriate activities that support development
* Encouraging positive social interaction and communication skills
* Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
* Working collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure a positive and inclusive setting
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with young children (nursery, childcare, babysitting or similar)
* A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
