Were hiring an Associate Creative Director to lead standout brand identity work for a leading Bristol creative agency. Youll bring strategic thinking, creative authority and a passion for brand to a team that thrives on pushing boundaries. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where youll lead projects, mentor designers and help elevate the agencys creative reputation. This is an excellent role for an experienced ACD or an ambitious Design Director from a brand agency to take the next step in their career.
What youll be doing
As Associate Creative Director, youll lead the creative development of brand identity systems, working closely with strategists to translate insight into bold, effective design. Youll oversee design, copywriting and art direction, presenting concepts to clients and senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Youll line manage a team of designers, supporting their growth through regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
This is a strategic role, contributing to the agencys approach to brand design, and shaping the agencys creative culture. Youll support with recruiting top talent, contributing to case studies and events, and championing the agencys ethos of challenging the ordinary.
Youll also stay hands-on, crafting brand experiences, directing content creation, and jumping on the tools when needed to bring your ideas to life.
What experience youll need to apply
* Extensive experience working in leading brand identity agencies.
* Proven track record of developing and evolving brand identities.
* Portfolio showcasing brand identity, rollout, campaigns and brand films.
* Strong conceptual thinker with strategic and commercial awareness.
* Skilled in visual storytelling and brand experience design.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
* Experience directing photography, film and digital content.
* Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency setting.
