Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – WF8 – Start After Easter
We are currently recruiting for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in the WF8 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development across the school.
Location: WF8
Start Date: After the Easter break
Pay: £95 – £125 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
* Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
* Leading small group interventions and targeted support sessions
* Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working within a school environment
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to confidently lead a classroom when required
* A proactive and supportive approach to working with pupils and staff
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
This role would suit a confident and enthusiastic HLTA who enjoys taking an active role in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
