🛠️ The Role:
Based out of their state-of-the-art facilities in either Staffordshire or Cheshire, this role includes:
- Frequent stay aways/UK travel to client sites (company vehicle included). You can be based anywhere in the UK but would be required to be at Staffordshire or Cheshire office weekly for the first 6 months during training. Following successful passing of probation you can be home based. The role requires up to 80% travel/stay aways Monday-Friday.
- System commissioning, calibration, servicing and technical support on client sites
- Working on equipment like flow and pressure meters and temperature transmitters
- Test communications and conduct end to end testing
- Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of the commissioning strategy and plan
- Compile all reports / documentation and dispatch in a timely manner
- Training and mentoring junior engineers
🎯 We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of commissioning or servicing experience with 2 years of working independently
- Instrumentation technical background
- A strong background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC/HND)
- Knowledge of PLCs, pressure systems, and system fault-finding
