A forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate Teacher of Music to join their thriving Performing Arts team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role would suit either an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT keen to make an impact in a dynamic school community.
You will be teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience. The school runs a wide variety of musical ensembles and productions and encourages interdisciplinary projects within the Arts.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach classroom music to KS3 and GCSE (Eduqas) students
*
Support and lead co-curricular groups such as choir, band, or music tech club
*
Assist with annual performances and seasonal concerts
*
Use technology in music education (e.g. Soundtrap, Sibelius, Logic)
*
Promote music education across the wider school community
Candidate Requirements:

Music degree and PGCE/QTS
*
Skilled in both theory and practical application
*
Creative, adaptable, and collaborative teacher
*
Commitment to inclusive and student-led learning
