Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Busy garage reception. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a welcoming demeanour, and a strong background in Management. This role involves managing customer interactions, supervising staff, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Data entry and compliance are a big part of this role. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining high standards of Customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the team to deliver customer repairs on time.
* Manage customer drop off and collections, processes efficiently and courteously
* Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
* Oversee our garage systems, ensuring accuracy and optimal utilisation of workshop availability along with Our BMS.
* Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with customer and partners
* Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations
* Collaborate with Staff, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
* Monitor daily financial transactions, including billing and payments
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the work area
* Implement procedures to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements
* Proven experience motor trade / or management roles
* Excellent communication skills; confident in dealing with staff.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* Demonstrated proficiency in software and MS Office applications
* Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Book Keeping and P/L
* Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position is preferred
* A friendly, approachable demeanour with a commitment to delivering outstanding experiences
