* Identifying damp and mould issues and recommending solutions
* Supporting delivery of the planned works and major works programme
* Supervising contractors and ensuring work meets required standards
* Using Open Housing and Lifespan (training provided if needed)
* Working closely with colleagues across Assets, Compliance and Customer Support
What’s on offer
* £250 - £300 day rate (negotiable)
* Minimum 3‑month contract, likely to extend
* No out‑of‑hours rota
* Quick start available - 1-2 week notice periods considered
* A genuinely supportive team culture
* Local patch with minimal travel
About you
You’ll thrive here if you’re practical, confident on site, and comfortable managing your own workload.
You’ll need experience in:
* Building surveying within housing
* Reactive and planned works
* Contractor supervision
* Damp & mould assessment and general building pathology
