Role Overview
We are seeking a resilient, solution-focused Supply Chain Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping operational practices during Venus’ integration into Booker systems. You will drive service excellence, optimise supply chain efficiency, and reduce costs while leading a team of two Supply Planners.
Your remit will span inventory management, demand forecasting, and supplier collaboration, ensuring consistent stock availability across depots and retail sites. Daily reporting on shortages and out-of-stocks will provide vital insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Location
This role is based out of Tottenham. 62 Garman Rd, London N17 0UT. The Successful candidate will be required to spend up to 3 days in the office.
Main Responsibilities
8. Product availability and maintaining optimal stock levels across all sites
9. Leading, coaching, and supporting your team through organisational change
10. Proactively escalating, challenging, and resolving supply chain issues
11. Producing daily reports on supplier shortages and stock gaps
12. All key performance indicators sales, stock and availability.
13. Managing inter-company stock transfers between depots
14. Partnering with logistics teams to optimise turnover and minimise out-of-stocks
15. Collaborating with the Buying team on forecasting, promotions, and new product launches
16. Developing demand scenarios to address market fluctuations and seasonal peaks
You will need
Essential Skills & Experience
17. Clear, confident communication skills
18. Experience in demand planning and forecasting
19. Proven problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
20. Effective stakeholder management across teams and suppliers
21. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
22. 1–2 years’ experience in a similar supply chain role
23. Competent at multitasking with exceptional attention to detail

24. Previous experience within the drinks industry
