A well-regarded specialist independent school in Surrey is seeking a dynamic and organised Cover Supervisor to lead high-quality classroom cover and coordinate daily cover arrangements for staff absences. Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Cover (2/3 of role):
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
* Maintain strong behaviour management and inclusive learning environments.
* Collaborate with assistants, therapists, and other professionals.
* Contribute to resource development and school-wide initiatives.
Cover Coordination (1/3 of role):
* Organise and manage daily cover for teaching and non-teaching staff.
* Communicate timetables and changes effectively.
* Mentor and support supply staff.
* Liaise with HR to ensure safeguarding compliance.
* Use Microsoft Teams and email systems to manage cover instructions.

Person Specification:
Essential:
* Experience working with children.
* Timetable coordination experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Confident in Microsoft Teams and web-based applications.
* Effective classroom and behaviour management.
* Driving licence
