Teacher of Biology
We are seeking a passionate and reflective Teacher of Biology to join our thriving department in September 2026. With over 100 pupils studying Biology post‑IGCSE, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward‑thinking team that values intellectual curiosity, academic rigour, and holistic education. The successful candidate will teach across the age range (13–18), including GCSE, A Level, and IB Diploma courses. You will be part of a collaborative department of 11 teachers and 3 technicians, working in modern laboratories and Harkness rooms that support both practical and theoretical learning. Beyond the classroom, you will play an active role in the pastoral and co‑curricular life of the College, embracing the full boarding school experience.
We are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, a genuine enthusiasm for education, and a commitment to supporting pupils' personal and academic development. A degree in Biology or a closely related discipline is essential, and experience teaching students aged 13–19 is expected. A recognised teaching qualification and experience with the IB Diploma Programme would be advantageous.
