Purchasing Manager
Infuse Financial – a leading packaging distributor to food and non‑food sectors, headquartered in the Northwest, is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement function.
Salary: £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the performance and development of the local procurement team.
* Ensure all procurement processes and procedures are current and followed.
* Lead by example, supporting the company's mission, vision and strategy.
* Collaborate efficiently with other departments, both domestically and across Europe.
* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and reports.
* Achieve cost‑effective purchases of all products within allocated territories, tracking and reporting key KPIs.
* Achieve the procurement budget, promoting a culture of long‑term cost savings.
* Negotiate favourable terms with established suppliers and vendors.
* Build and maintain long‑term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
* Approve purchase orders and confirm delivery of goods and services.
* Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing management roles.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
* Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
