An exciting opportunity has arisen at a top tier US law firm for an AML Assistant.
The Firm

The Team
The team currently consists of a small number of talented AML Analysts, but by next year they are aiming to increase the headcount by 6. This role has arisen as the current AML Assistant has been promoted to AML Analyst.
The Role
The role will initially be admin heavy and include:
* Managing the compliance team inbox
* Requesting further information from the solicitors
* Carrying out ID checks
* Creating and updating client records in the database
* Producing minutes
Once you are trained up you can also look forward to:
* Conducting client due diligence
* Analysing the findings and identifying any high risk issues
* Conducting reputation management checks
The Requirements
This role would be ideal for a law graduate who does not want to be a solicitor but who is keen to work in a law firm.
Ideally you will have some office experience, perhaps you have completed a placement year as part of your degree, or worked in an office during your summer holidays.
What is essential is an interest in anti-money laundering or financial crime and the desire for a career in legal compliance.
