Overview
Band 5 Specialist Recovery Practitioner - Wiltshire role at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. An exciting new role within NEW CMHT offering opportunities to work with service users with complex mental health needs.
We are a friendly, supportive team that is passionate about improving the lives of service users, with a focus on emotionally unstable/borderline personality disorders. The service uses an evidence-based model of care called Structured Clinical Management (SCM). Successful applicants will be offered a three-day training package on how to deliver SCM along with specialised individual and group supervision.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver interventions to a complex caseload of service users with complex emotional needs.
* Carry out multi-agency working and risk management.
* Administer medications.
* Fulfil the CMHT duty worker role on a rolling rota.
Role context and development
As a care co-ordinator in the team you will be responsible for the care coordination of a complex caseload of service users on the non-psychotic pathway, providing therapeutic interventions and linking with other professionals to coordinate interventions. There will be excellent supervision and opportunities for career development and training to support you in this role. This is an opportunity to develop skills for an identified group of individuals and improve outcomes and experiences for service users and their carers.
