Early Years Practitioner Level 2/3 - 40 Hours a week
We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate will:
* Possess suitable qualifications to Level 2 or above
* Have experience of working with babies and children under 5 yrs
* Have a working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards
* Be passionate about Early Years & improving outcomes for children/families
* Be approachable and enjoy working in a small team or individually
* Have good communication skills both verbal and written.
Main duties and responsibilities will include
* To be committed to all Child Protection and Safeguarding protocols
* Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed at all times
* Ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the room/nursery is maintained
* Have responsibility for a key group of children with full key person duties
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team delivering high quality care and early years education for all children
* Work in a proactive manner to provide a wide range of safe, stimulating opportunities to enable children to learn and thrive
* Build and maintain respectful and professional relationships with parents & families
* Attend staff meetings and briefings out of working hours.
* Participate in training where required; keeping updated with current childcare and legislative practices.
