This role is ideal for a mid level Accounts Assistant who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands on environment, and feels confident managing core transactional finance tasks with minimal supervision. You'll support a busy finance function with day to day accounting duties, working closely with the Finance Manager and wider operations team. You will take responsibility for a full range of transactional finance duties, including: Banking & Reconciliations Daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts "Closing off" banking at day end and month end Monitoring cash postings and ensuring accuracy Accounts Payable (AP) Matching, batching, coding, and posting invoices Supplier statement reconciliations Accounts Receivable (AR) Assisting with credit control tasks when required General Ledger & Month End Support Supporting balance sheet reconciliations Supporting internal departments with finance queries Ad hoc finance tasks as required Previous experience in a busy accounts assistant or finance administrator role Strong understanding of transactional finance (AP, AR, banking, reconciliations) Confident and self sufficient and able to get on with tasks with minimal supervision Competent with general accounting software and Excel Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (training provided) Curious, flexible, and willing to learn new systems and processes Office Angels is an employment agency and business.
