Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Zero2Five is partnering with a quality nursery in Sittingbourne looking for an experienced Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a skilled team delivering high standard learning, development, and care for children aged 0‑5 years.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in nursery or childcare environments with at least 2 years of experience.
* Maintain a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
* Use the EYFS Framework to create engaging learning opportunities.
* Apply safeguarding procedures and health and safety practices.
* Display a caring, nurturing, and positive attitude toward children.
* Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
Requirements
* Help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
* Work with other professionals in the local area for the benefit of children and families.
* Liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery, its curriculum, exchanging information about children's progress and encouraging parent involvement.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery aims and objectives.
* Work in partnership with senior management.
* Provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
* Understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including child protection, incidents, complaints and emergencies.
* Ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments.
* Plan activities ensuring each child works towards the EYFS.
* Deliver an appropriate play‑based EYFS curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
* Be a key person for up to 12 children.
