Job Details
We are seeking talented and passionate C++/Java developers to join our Seismic Survey Planning and Simulation team. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and collaborate closely with our development team in Denver, Colorado.
What are we looking for?
Successful Candidates Will Have Experience In The Following Areas:
* At least 5 years of commercial experience using:
o C++ (v11+), Java (ideally candidates will have experience of both)
o Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) Library
o Development of desktop applications for Windows
o Visual Studio
* At least 3 years working at a senior level
* Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving and solution development
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate high-level business requirements to technical audiences
* Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* BSc in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline
Preferred Skills
* Background with scientific applications
* Experience with GIS, mapping applications, map projections, and geodesy
* Familiarity with geophysics and seismic exploration
* Experience working with remote teams
* Experience with Azure DevOps, unit and automated testing, CI/CD pipelines
* Experience working in an Agile environment, specifically Scrum teams
