(JB110) Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: East Yorkshire
Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician
Salary: £49,000 - £51,000 per annum plus overtime
Hours: 4 on 4 off – 2 Days followed by 2 Nights
Location: Brough - Commutable from Howden, Hull, Selby, Goole, Doncaster, Brough, York, Market Weighton, Driffield, Knottingley and surrounding areas

The site is self-sufficient, not relying on outside contractors for most projects, so maintenance teams are involved in the full lifecycle of work. They also provide training and up-skilling, e.g., FANUC Robotics, PLC fault finding, and programming, ideally with some advanced skills already.
This is a shift-based role - 4 on 4 off - 2 Days followed by 2 Nights - ideally suited for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician with experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments. The ability to work effectively within a skilled team is essential!
Responsibilities
* Supporting heavy equipment and machinery including conveyors, mixing, and robotics machinery.
* Working through planned preventative maintenance, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Providing reactive maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and restoring production lines swiftly.
* Dealing with VSD Drives and PLCs.
Requirements
* Completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Electrical Engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above.
* Experience in reactive and PPM electrical maintenance within industrial/heavy manufacturing settings.
* PLC fault finding skills; PLC programming experience is a plus. Experience with VSD drives is beneficial.
* Siemens PLC experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to diagnose and repair electrical motors and pneumatics.
* Willingness to learn and develop further, sharing knowledge with the team.
* Proactive, friendly attitude towards work.
* Good knowledge of health & safety standards and practices.
