Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Fabricator Welder to join our team in Letchworth. This position involves working with a variety of metals to fabricate components and structures that meet precise specifications. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MIG and TIG welding processes, along with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques. You will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques on various metals. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine project requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct regular quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve welding processes and output. Perform repairs and modifications to existing components as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Fabricator Welder. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Relevant welding certification is an advantage. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks as required.
