Wroxham Barns has been providing a great day out for children and adults alike for over 41 years. Food, shopping, and family fun are at the heart of what we do.
As part of our offering, we have a Junior Farm, which welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year, to meet our animals, attend our events, and have a great family day out
Junior Farm has Alpacas, goats, sheep, Ponies, Donkeys, calves, lambs, Guinea pigs, and Rabbits.
We host lots of exciting events each year including; Lambing Live, Easter Egg-Stravaganza, PYO Pumpkins, GET ME OUT OF HERE, and The Christmas Experience.
We're on the lookout for individuals to join us as our Junior Farm assistants, bringing the magic of the farm to life through entertaining talks and activities.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Put on a show stopping performance while leading talks on calf bottle feeding, pony grooming, small animal petting sessions and other farm adventures for our audience.
* Confidence and the ability to capture the attention of children and families alike is a must
* Embrace the farm life and get stuck in with our animal activities, prior knowledge of animals is a bonus
* Ability to learn and deliver scripted content/talks with enthusiasm and energy- is a must
* Help deliver seasonal events eg potato picking, pumpkin picking/ carving and Christmas festivities.
* Host birthday parties on Junior Farm.
Requirements:
* A barnful of passions for animals.
* Public speaking.
* Script learning.
* This role is for weekends and school holiday's.
* Confident with animals.
