We’re looking for aConstruction Finance Assistantto join our dynamic construction team based in the beautiful surroundings of St John’s Town of Dalry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of numbers, systems, and people – supporting project managers and clients with financial insights and reporting that keep our construction projects running smoothly and sustainably. The role focuses on providing financial support to our team of project managers and clients, including preparing client invoices, tracking budgets, and generating financial reports. You will also assist with the use of our ERP and other internal systems, working closely with the department’s administration and bid support teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What You’ll Do
* Manage and support theinvoicingprocess for construction projects
* Assist inbudget tracking, internal/external financial reporting, and forecasting
* Support the monthlymanagement accounts processincluding accruals, prepayments and WIP
* Be a keyfinance liaison, responding to internal and external finance queries
* Work closely withclients and project managersto manage fees, variations, and updates
* Help close projects, maintain system data, and contribute to pipeline reporting
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Previous experience in afinance or accounting role
* Strong IT skills – especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A full UKdriving licence(due to rural office location)
Desirable:
* Finance or accountancy qualifications
* Knowledge of project budgeting and invoicing processes
* Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
* A background in construction or renewable energy
