ERP System Analyst (Edinburgh)
About the role:
Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading building companies who are seeking a proactive ERP System Analyst to join our close-knit technology team, supporting the essential systems used across our Commercial and Finance departments. This role focuses on improving business processes, enhancing user experiences, and delivering practical solutions that drive value.
Working as part of an Agile product team, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to develop systems that support efficient decision-making and enable teams to work more effectively. Based in our Edinburgh head office, this role requires in-person attendance for a minimum of two days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored product demonstrations and user-facing presentations
* Assist in the configuration and maintenance of our ERP platform and related systems
* Develop solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints
* Collaborate with developers to refine products based on user feedback
* Create user guides and technical documentation
* Provide ongoing technical support and resolve application issues
* Monitor technology trends to help shape future solutions
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Agile team
Qualifications:
* Degree in a computing or engineering-related subject
* Previous experience in a Solutions or Applications Engineering role
* Skilled in Microsoft Power Platform development
* Strong focus on intuitive, user-friendly design
* Confident in configuring, maintaining, and supporting business applications
* Solid grounding in software systems and infrastructure
* Familiar with Agile practices and project management tools
* Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Awareness of cloud technologies, networks, the Microsoft ecosystem, and cyber security is beneficial
Ways of working:
2 days per week onsite in Edinburgh
Up to £50k depending on experience
