Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Tax Jobs in London is currently working with an exceptional medium-sized independent firm of accountants in central London that would like to appoint a Tax Senior into their team. The firm has 15 partners and approximately 60 staff and is a member firm of a strong International network of accountants.
They work with a wide range of clients with specialist areas to include; FCA regulated entities, authors, barristers, media, property clients, not for profit and, increasingly, an international angle including offshore trusts.
The Role:
* You will manage your own portfolio of personal clients, maintaining and developing the strong relationships which are key to the firm’s growth, as well as assisting other tax department personnel with work on their portfolios as required.
* The role is primarily personal tax compliance focused but there will be ad hoc advice and projects to be provided.
Requirements:
* At a minimum you will be ATT qualified, but preferably CTA qualified
* You are a confident self-starter with good interpersonal skills with at least four years tax experience.
* Experience of managing a portfolio of clients.
* Computer literate. A working knowledge of CCH would be an advantage.
* You are willing and able to work under pressure and cope flexibly with, at times, demanding deadlines.
* You have well developed client liaison skills.
* Your analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to think laterally mean you are capable of identifying potential problems and providing solutions.
* You are fully conversant with current tax issues and conversant with relevant legislation, case law etc.
* You show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of issues from start to finish.
* You have good communication skills – both verbal and written.
