Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery: Troubleshoot and fix garden and groundcare equipment to ensure efficient operation.
* Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance: Conduct regular checks to prevent breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.
* Engage directly with customers: Communicate effectively to understand needs, provide solutions, and deliver high-quality service.
* Maintain accurate records: Log all repairs, services, and parts used for transparency and accountability.
* Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety procedures: Follow relevant guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist the Branch Service Manager: Support operational goals and service excellence.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience: Working with garden, groundcare, agricultural, or related machinery, demonstrating technical troubleshooting skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities: Diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
* Excellent communication skills: Effectively interact with customers and team members.
* Customer service mindset: Commitment to outstanding service and building customer relationships.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Valid UK driving licence: Required for travel to customer sites and other locations.
