Job Summary

To provide operational support in packaging procurement while driving sustainability and reporting. The role combines administrative responsibilities with opportunities to contribute to innovation sourcing and sustainability initiatives.

We're looking for a proactive Procurement & Sustainability Executive to support our packaging and sourcing team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager (Packaging & Sourcing), you'll have a dual focus: ensuring smooth procurement operations for bespoke packaging and helping us embed sustainability into our supply chain.

You'll work closely with suppliers to follow up orders, maintain sustainability documentation, and support sourcing projects. You'll also contribute to our ESG reporting and help identify more sustainable material options for the future.

Duties

· Follow up on bespoke purchase orders raised by Planning, ensuring timely supplier responses.

· Collect, verify, and maintain supplier sustainability documentation (FSC, RSPO, etc.).

· Track and report on sustainability and ESG metrics (certifications, recycled content, etc.).

· Support packaging sourcing projects, including quotation requests and sample management.

· Maintain sustainability trackers, specifications, and ESG databases.

· Liaise with suppliers to clarify requirements and compliance standards.

· Assist the Procurement Manager with sustainability-focused projects and initiatives.

KPIs

· Timeliness of bespoke PO follow-ups.

· Accuracy and completeness of ESG documentation.

· Supplier compliance levels against sustainability requirements.

· Contributions to sourcing projects and reporting improvements.

What you need to be successful:

Experience in procurement, sustainability, or supply chain support roles:

· Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and certifications (FSC, RSPO) desirable.

· Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of Microsoft Business Central preferred.

· Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Self-motivated and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
