Overview
IM&T Application Support Analyst role at Islet Systems. Based with Devon Partnership Trust, a unit providing mental health, learning disability and neurodiversity services in the south west region. This role supports clinical applications across Live Services within the Digital, Data and Technology Department.
Job Summary
A fantastic opportunity for an Application Support Analyst within the Clinical Applications Support Team (Live Services). The successful candidate will join a dynamic service desk team responsible for deployment, management and use of key clinical applications and supplementary systems, including the Electronic Patient Record system SystmOne and Smartcards.
Main duties
* Provide second-line support for clinical applications via a Service Now platform, handling tickets and resolving issues or guiding users according to SOPs.
* Adapting applications according to change management processes and upholding organisational policies on access, data quality and sharing.
* Be available for on-call out-of-hours support (1 in 8 rotation) once trained; option for hybrid or in-office working after training.
* Collaborate with vendors as needed to identify problems and apply effective resolutions.
Responsibilities
* Ticket management, problem investigation and resolution, and clear communication of issues, risks and dependencies to stakeholders.
* Provide day-to-day user support using SOPs; liaise with internal teams and Communications as required.
* Support change management activities and ensure compliant use of systems.
* Contribute to on-going service development, quality improvement and policy interpretation within the Trust.
Requirements
* Essential: Experience using key line of business systems; use of service management records systems; strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage a large workload and work across teams; high proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Desirable: Experience in application support or systems administration; ITIL foundation; project management qualification (e.g., Prince2); NHS experience.
Other Information
* Salary: £27,485 to £30,162 per year; Band 4; permanent, full-time with flexible/home working options.
