Our outstanding school in Barking is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual, preferably a teacher of English, Maths, or Science, to take on the rewarding role of Head of Year. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and aspirational culture within your year group, ensuring all students thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the pastoral care and academic progress of a designated year group.
* Work closely with students, parents, and staff to address individual needs and challenges.
* Analyse student data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions.
* Promote a strong sense of community and belonging within the year group.
* Line manage form tutors and support their professional development.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide pastoral initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Ability to lead and inspire both students and adults.
