KCR Solutions are excited to be assisting this established accountancy firm based in Cramlington. You will be working with a friendly growing team, working directly with the directors and managing your own portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities.
* Preparing statutory and management accounts for clients
* Assisting with business development activities to attract new clients
* Liaising with other colleagues to ensure all client work is completed accurately, within budget and on time
* Work closely with clients to continuously develop their internal systems
* Ability to analytically review and analyse KPIs
* Training clients in use of their accounting systems whilst implementing best practice bookkeeping systems
* Carry out bespoke system projects agreed with the client
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Preparing information for client board meetings as well as some ad hoc projects
* A very strong emphasis is put on the advisory side of accountancy and you will be expected to provide value added advice to your clients on a regular basis
Required skills.
* Qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, FCA with practice experience working for a small to medium size UK based practice firm
* Must have good time management, organisational skills, interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients therefore needing a client focused attitude
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and flexible in approach
* Experience in a range of software packages, in particular cloud accounting packages such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50
* Maintain high professional standards of conduct and practice
* Understand need for continuous learning and development
