Gymnastics Club Retford Gymnastics Club is a not for profit organisation and a registered charity.
We are dedicated to fostering a love for gymnastics in young people of all ages abilities. We aim to inspire, support, and develop gymnasts in a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment.
Role Overview: The Trustees are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dynamic Manager to lead and develop our club further.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the club, working alongside the Trustees.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and support the coaching team to deliver high-quality gymnastics sessions. Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of gymnastics programmes for all age groups and abilities. Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Provide a Mentor and guide to support assistant coaches and volunteers, promoting professional development. Working alongside the Events Manager organising and overseeing club events, competitions, and showcases. Foster strong relationships with gymnasts, parents, and the wider community.
Essential Requirements: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire both gymnasts and coaching staff.
You will require a current DBS check, Safeguarding certificate, and FirstAid certifications, as well as membership to British Gymnastics.
Desirable Attributes: Experience in management skills. Knowledge of child development and inclusive coaching practices. Organisational skills. Working as part of a team.
