About the Service
Turning Point Scotland’s Angus service provides support to adults with complex needs including learning disability and autism. We work in partnership with health teams, social work teams, community justice teams, police and advocacy services to deliver person‑centred care in clients’ own homes and communities.
About the Role
Caring for vulnerable people in a demanding, challenging but emotionally rewarding way—including managing daily activities, facilitating independence, promoting health and wellbeing, and encouraging community involvement—is at the heart of this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Practitioner, you will provide individualised 1:1 support or work within a team to help adults achieve their personal outcomes. Your duties include:
* Supporting daily routines such as safety, meaningful activities, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
* Encouraging participation in education, employment/volunteering and social activities.
* Assisting with household management and maintaining relationships with family, friends and health professionals.
Requirements & Qualifications
No previous working experience is necessary; full training will be provided. Eligible applicants must possess:
* IT skills suitable for all vacancies.
* The ability to register with the SSSC within six months of the start date.
