The Role
As a Learner Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading learner recruitment activity across London, ensuring a consistent and high-quality pipeline into AEB and employability programmes.
You’ll oversee both strategy and delivery—balancing hands-on engagement with performance management and team support.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement learner recruitment strategies across London
* Manage learner pipelines and track engagement performance
* Build and strengthen partnerships with job centres, community groups, and referral organisations
* Lead outreach initiatives targeting unemployed and underrepresented groups
* Ensure compliance with AEB funding and eligibility requirements
* Monitor data, reporting, and engagement activity
* Support, coach, and guide learner engagement staff
Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced engagement professional with a strategic mindset and a strong background in employability or adult education.
You will bring:
* Proven experience in learner engagement, recruitment, or employability outreach
* Strong knowledge of Adult Education Budget (AEB) provision
* Experience managing regional or multi-site engagement activity
* Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships across London
* Leadership experience or readiness to step into a management role
* Strong organisational and performance-driven approach
