Being a pioneer in their industry, they are looking for a passionate person to join them as their Health & Safety Manager to enable their continued pursuit for perfection is based on a culture of safety that protects and empowers the people within it to work with confidence and care
What you will be doing:
Be the ‘go to’ expert for all matters regarding HSE and work with the senior leadership team giving any guidance where required
Promoting positive change, with a ‘can do’ attitude working with all internal and external stakeholders
Shape new policy to be compliant and as future proof as possible
Keep the business compliant with changing regulations and implementing any changes needed
Implement and develop a robust culture of Health and Safety across the business
Be the main point of contact for all relevant external agencies
Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained.
Maintain, Design and implement emergency response plans
Run training sessions, safety campaigns and toolbox talks for all internal staff and external contractors as required 
Skills Experience
Proven track record working in a H&S leadership role within pharma, chemical or food manufacturing
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences or similar
Confident with strong leadership skills being able to motivate and implement change
As a minimum be NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
Excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and written
Strong IT Skills
Able to work autonomously and pro-actively
Organised and able to work under pressure
