We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Planning Coordinator, you'll act as the strategic link between initial customer requests and the physical dig. Reporting to the Planning Lead, you'll oversee a dedicated team of Surveyors across your assigned area, ensuring their time is effectively maximised to carry out Meter Installations or complete surveys that support dig promotions in line with the appointment process.
You'll lead the pre-construction phase for Meter Installations and Meter Digs, planning and coordinating surveyors who are our eyes on the ground. Your role is to capture vital informationsuch as promotion details, utility locations, surface types, and traffic requirementsenabling you to create accurate, ready-to-dig work packs that set our delivery teams up for success.
Your responsibilities include deploying surveyors efficiently, reviewing survey data to ensure high-quality outputs, and using that information to determine the Planned Value of each job, including viability, required resources, and expected durations. Youll also manage customer liaison, arranging access to private properties or businesses and ensuring a professional first point of contact throughout the process.
What youll bring
* Experience: Background in utility surveying, site technical assessments, or NRSWA coordination.
* Logistical Coordination: Experience managing a mobile workforce (Surveyors) and optimising their travel routes.
* Communication: Able to translate and provide good communication to our field teams, supervisors and stakeholders.
