Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift | St Helens, Merseyside
* Location: Alexandra Warehouse, WA10 3LR
* Hours: 10-hour night shifts, 5 nights a week (20:00-06:00, 1-hour unpaid break)
* Pay Rate: £17.19 per hour

Join a team committed to sustainability and operational excellence. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in keeping essential systems running smoothly and identifying improvements that reduce downtime and enhance performance.
* Key Responsibilities
* Perform nightly engineering checks (fire-watch, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops)
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on systems and machinery including conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, and motors
* Respond to breakdowns and complete work orders
* Report defects and suggest process improvements to reduce downtime
* What We're Looking For
* Essential:
o NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
o Experience working with conveyors
