Veritas Careers are recruiting for a well‑respected franchise dealer group. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven National Fleet Sales Manager to further develop and expand a national fleet operation representing two high‑performing brands.
Our client sells in excess of 3,000 fleet units annually and continues to strengthen its position within the corporate, broker and leasing sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated fleet professional with extensive industry experience, strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop long‑term relationships across the leasing and corporate marketplace.
Responsibilities
* Developing and expanding national fleet sales opportunities.
* Generating incremental business growth through new and existing corporate relationships.
* Building and maintaining long‑lasting relationships with existing customers, leasing companies and broker partners.
* Identifying and securing new corporate, SME and broker opportunities nationwide.
* Building and strengthening relationships with the UK’s top 50 leasing companies.
* Working towards securing and developing nominated supplier status opportunities across key leasing partners.
* Maintaining regular contact with key accounts to maximise retention, repeat business and customer satisfaction.
* Working closely with both Volvo and Chery to develop strong manufacturer relationships and maximise fleet opportunities.
* Presenting professionally at boardroom and senior corporate level.
* Negotiating commercial agreements and preparing competitive fleet proposals.
* Producing accurate activity and performance reporting.
* Ensuring a highly professional and process‑driven approach to account management and business development.
* Collaborating closely with internal operational teams to ensure an excellent customer journey from order through to delivery.
Requirements
* Significant experience within automotive fleet and corporate sales.
* Existing relationships within the FN50 leasing company network highly desirable.
* Strong relationship‑building and business development capabilities.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* The ability to operate confidently at senior corporate and boardroom level.
* A highly process‑driven and commercially focused approach.
* Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong organisational and planning abilities.
* Self‑motivation with the ability to work independently and proactively.
* Professional presentation and strong attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence.
Benefits
They are offering a highly competitive salary plus commission to an OTE of £100k and a host of other benefits.
This position offers flexibility and does not require the successful candidate to be office‑based on a daily basis. However, regular attendance within the dealership and fleet operation will be expected to maintain communication, manufacturer relationships, and operational alignment.
