What you'll be doing
As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team to ensure effective financial processes and controls are in place for the accurate production of financial reporting outputs. Your primary responsibility will be the timely delivery of accurate regulatory reporting submissions for the Bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards. You will also provide support in the financial close process, including journal preparation and balance sheet substantiation, as well as assisting in the administration and management of team deliverables. Furthermore, you will contribute to the preparation of the Bank's IFRS financial statements and support the external audit process. A key aspect of your role will involve identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving increased efficiency within the team. To excel in this position, you should have a desire to study towards a relevant accounting qualification, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have excellent attention to detail. Your proficiency in PC skills, particularly Excel, will be important, and previous exposure to Oracle General Ledger would be advantageous. As a highly organised individual, you will be able to manage your workload effectively within tight deadlines and work well under pressure. Collaboration is essential in this role, so being an excellent team player with strong relationship management skills will be crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Who you are
As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you are a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional who plays a crucial role in supporting the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team. With your strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail, you ensure the timely and accurate delivery of regulatory reporting submissions, maintaining high standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your experience in finance operations, reporting, and control, gained either in industry or practice, has equipped you with the skills to support the financial close process, prepare journal entries, and assist in the reconciliation of balance sheets. With your strong PC skills, particularly in Excel, and ability to prioritise and work under pressure, you contribute to process improvements and are able to deliver results as an excellent team player. Your written and verbal communication skills, as well as your relationship management skills, enable effective collaboration and support the preparation of financial statements and external audits.
