A leading professional membership body is looking for a Director of Education to shape the future of how its global profession learns, qualifies and progresses. This is a rare opportunity to build a fair, rigorous and modern route to chartered status at a pivotal moment of change and growth. The role will be hybrid, 3 days a week and can be based in either their London or Birmingham offices.
The role:
·Redesign the full qualification journey, from first entry to through to professional chartered status
·Build a clear, rigorous and inclusive set of learning and assessment routes
·Strengthen decision making at the gateway stage and improve pass rates
·Work closely with Standards and Regulation to ensure alignment with awarding requirements
·Build a connected system that supports learners around the world
·Oversee curriculum development, working groups and the creation of highquality resources
·Drive innovation in delivery, including digital learning, blended models and global accessibility
·Partner with training providers, universities, industry and employers to ensure realworld relevance
·Champion an experience that is consistent, equitable and aligned with employer needs
About you
·Strong understanding of education systems, qualification frameworks and professional pathways with experience designing or launching qualifications or education programmes in a regulated profession
·Experience in an innovative learning environment, ideally within a global professional body, training provider, or EdTech organisation
·Confident working with technology, including how AI can enhance learning and assessment
·A collaborative and credible leader who can influence widely and present with impact
·Practical, thoughtful and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands on delivery
