Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a stable Monday:to:Friday role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training and genuine career development? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity. Were looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join a busy, professional workshop environment where quality workmanship and teamwork are valued. Working within an IRTEC:accredited facility, youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a varied fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing HGVs efficiently and safely.
- Carrying out maintenance in line with manufacturer standards.
- Delivering a right first time approach to repairs.
- Completing job cards and accurately recording parts used.
- Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting a strong health and safety culture.
What Were Looking For in the successful HGV Technician
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
- Previous experience working on HGVs in a commercial environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault:finding skills.
- Good IT and workshop system knowledge.
- Self:motivated with a positive, team:focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Class 1 (C+E) licence preferred.
- Tail lift experience advantageous.
