Overview
Are you experienced in customer relationship management, owning a portfolio of customers, and working in sales to gain new business? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join a busy outbound sales team. The Company specialises in the distribution of equipment and supplies for companies and local authorities.
Salary: £28,875 + bonus scheme based on invoiced turnover and product margin, paid both quarterly and annually.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am - 4pm.
Role
You will manage a portfolio of accounts with the main responsibility of managing both potential and existing users to secure the business as one of their preferred suppliers. This will involve regularly calling your customers, responding to emails, speaking with other departments, and ensuring their requirements are met. There will be a mix of maintaining relationships with key accounts and pursuing potential new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the sales target for your portfolio of accounts
* Outbound call all of your customers with a clear goal to secure incremental sales
* Identify new sites and users within the account base and convert these into sales revenue
* Understand the needs of your customers and secure the company as their Preferred Supplier
* Network at all levels within the Company to ensure necessary support for your accounts
* Maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date account records for your customers
* Work as a team to achieve targets

Experience (Ideal)
* Successful telephone sales experience
