An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Estates Service in the Place Directorate. The position is for 1 FTE (37 hours) per week.
About you
We are ideally looking for a Chartered Estates Surveyor, with significant broad experience in dealing with a diverse portfolio and undertaking property functions including management, lettings, valuation (including asset valuation), disposal and acquisition (including CPO). Ideally with some development experience, to high levels of complexity and with a track record of success.
You must enjoy the challenge of ensuring that optimum value is realised from an existing portfolio and be capable of identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencies in existing working practices.
You must be an effective and articulate communicator at all levels and have a strong understanding of the drivers behind public sector asset management issues.
The successful candidate will have:
2. Estate Management/Property Management Degree plus MRICS
3. 5 years post qualification experience
4. Knowledge and experience to undertake and fulfil the essential criteria in the Job Description and Specification
5. A high degree of interpersonal skills
6. The ability to converse at ease with our internal and external customers
7. A flexible approach to work
8. Willingness and ability to travel to sites across the Borough
