SEN Class Teacher
Job Type: Permanent or long term supply to permanent
Full time - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm
To start - immediately but can accommodate a start after February half term

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at a vibrant school. This role involves working with a small class of 5 to 8 KS3/4 pupils who are working towards Functional Skills Level Awards, as they are currently at least 2 years behind national expectations.
Deliver tailored educational activities to a class of up to 8 pupils with special educational needs, focusing on Functional Skills Level Awards.
Monitor and assess the progress of pupils, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their evolving needs.
Collaborate with other teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support the overall development and well-being of pupils.
Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages pupils to engage in the learning process and achieve their potential.
Proven experience as an SEN Teacher, ideally within KS3/4 educational settings.
Ability to create and adapt teaching materials and assessments to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching and student interaction.
