Main duties of the job
Calling all clinicians! Are you tired of working 12-hour days/nights and seeking a better work-life balance? Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an additional Clinical Manager to join the Care in the Home division, where we proudly employ nurses as Clinical Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we have ambitious growth plans. We pride ourselves on providing the best support for children, young people, and adults with conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory, and gastrointestinal conditions, including PEG feeding.
We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills, great leadership abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. The role involves working closely with a team of professionals to ensure individuals with complex needs, such as spinal cord injury or ABI, can live safely and comfortably at home. Please note, we cannot offer sponsorship for this role, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Job responsibilities
Work schedule:
* Monday - Friday, with on-call duties for emergencies
* Home-based role with travel across designated regions: Chester, Llanfairfechan, Cyfflliog, Ruthin, Saughall, Flint, Liverpool, Preston
Key duties include:
* Providing competency-based training to support clients with complex needs, promoting independence at home
* Delegating clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers through training and assessment
* Maintaining and updating Personal Care Plans in line with company protocols
* Conducting annual observations and ensuring all support staff have up-to-date competencies
* Handling safeguarding issues calmly and accurately
* Liaising with ICBs and care funders
* Communicating risks within care packages daily with scheduling and care teams
* Auditing patient records and MAR charts monthly in your area
* Visiting clients at home to teach competencies and resolve issues
* Ensuring accurate documentation and staff welfare, especially for lone workers
* Thinking laterally and seeing the bigger picture of complex care
Qualifications and skills
* Current NMC Pin registration (Dual Qualification RN/RSCN) or Adult Nurse with recent experience working with children
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* Knowledge of vents, bowel and bladder management, tracheostomy, catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring, NIVs, Nebs, PEG, challenging behaviour, ADHD, and autism
