What you will do
Johnson Controls Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) division provides project solutions, maintenance, and service for manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing. We are OEM for SABROE, Frick Compressors, and York products, with trained engineers supporting markets such as food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, and automotive.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for start-up and commissioning of industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget, focusing on plant & equipment, pipework, refrigeration charges, and controls.

How you will do it
You will serve as the primary technical contact on-site, supporting design teams and ensuring installation aligns with scope and specifications. You will communicate with clients, attend site reviews, and coordinate with suppliers and contractors. Travel within the UK and Ireland is expected.
What we look for
* Experience in maintenance and commissioning of industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using HFC, CO2, or Ammonia
* Understanding of system types like pumped overfed, two-stage, and cascade
* Ability to interpret electrical controls and drawings
* Knowledge of CDM regulations

* Travel flexibility across the UK & Ireland
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
