Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our educational team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and disabilities. Duties

* Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning programmes for students with special educational needs.
* Support children with autism, disabilities, or behavioural challenges to facilitate their participation in classroom activities.
* Provide one-to-one support to children, including toddlers and young learners, ensuring their safety and engagement.
* Help create an inclusive learning environment by adapting activities and materials to meet individual needs.
* Encourage communication and social interaction among pupils through organised activities and play.
* Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff to inform future planning.
* Assist with behavioural management strategies and promote positive behaviour.
* Support with daily routines such as meal times, toileting, and personal care when required.

Experience

* Previous experience working with children in educational or care settings is highly desirable.
* Experience supporting individuals with autism or other disabilities is advantageous.
* Knowledge of special education practices and behaviour management techniques is preferred.
* Experience with toddler care or early years support will be considered beneficial.
* Strong communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with children, parents, and staff.

Pay: £100.00-£110.00 per day
