Job Summary
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to children, ensuring their well-being and development. You will be responsible for implementing care plans, supporting daily activities, and fostering a positive environment. Your communication skills and ability to engage with children will be essential in building trusting relationships and promoting their independence.
Duties
* Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
* Implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and self-esteem.
* Facilitate educational and recreational activities that enhance learning and social skills.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during care.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
* Drive to various locations as required for activities or appointments, ensuring safe transportation.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
Requirements
* Experience working with children in a childcare or support role is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families.
* Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans is an advantage.
* IT proficiency for maintaining records and using relevant software applications.

Pay: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
